IN HOME SUPPORT

Support workers can play a really valuable role in the home when their engagement is purposeful, consistent and aligned with the child’s therapy goals and family priorities. The focus isn’t just “helping out”, it’s building skills, reducing stress for families, and creating opportunities for children to participate more independently in everyday life.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Community-based support focuses on helping children access and participate in everyday environments with growing confidence and independence. Rather than simply attending outings, our support workers use real-life experiences such as parks, local play spaces or familiar community settings to support each child to engage in ways that feel safe and meaningful to them.

Support is tailored to each child, with a strong focus on connection. By working alongside therapy goals, support workers help children generalise their skills beyond the home, while also reducing the stress many families experience around community outings and making these experiences feel more achievable and positive over time.
